We are currently working on UX DESIGNER role within a Digital Government agency based in Sydney OR Brisbane with a Hybrid working way (ideally 2 days in office) for a 9 month contract.
  
Day rate is subject to experience but around $800-$1,100 p/d + Super
  
As the UX Designer you will join the Design team to support a range of portfolio work, primarily focusing on product design and delivery in an Agile environment
  
Recent government and/or health experience highly desired and candidates with this relevant experience will be prioritised.
  
Please note you need to be in a position to obtain a Baseline Security clearance (Australian citizen).
  
Role –
  

• Generating ideas and delivering UX design solutions with a high quality of experience, consistency and usability across multiple digital platforms/devices.  
• Designing end-to-end product design process, such as - wireframes, prototypes, journey maps, IA, reviews for testing with Consumers and Digital stakeholders for delivery to product and development teams.  
• Working in an agile environment with a view to deliver iteratively, efficiently and with lean principles in mind.. 

  
Skills –
  

• Over 3 years’ experience in HCD methods with core focus on UX Design
• Essential experience with Figma, Adobe XD and/or Axure  
• Experience with recent Government contract EXTREMELY Desired
• Experience of applying digital service standards and a thorough understanding of accessibility and inclusiveness design requirements.  
• Conducting and participating in user-testing & co-design practices.  
• Experience maintaining & developing design systems, component libraries and style-guides
• A portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating amazing User-Centred design solutions.  
• Qualifications in Human-centered Design related field would be highly desired
