Just Digital People are working closely with a government body based in the CBD who are keen to grow their design team from 4 to 5 designers, with the help of a UX practitioner. You’ll be working on a brand-new project that will see the transformation of their digital suite and services. This means that thousands of Victorians will have clearer and greater access to information and services through a great digital tool.
  
You’ll be responsible for the UX end to end practices including research, reporting, and user testing as well as wireframing and prototyping. You’ll have plenty of face time with stakeholders and the project team you will help them evolve their digital services. You’ll be able to pushback on ideas and you’ll have the ability to solidly voice your ideas without letting emotions get in the way- getting people on board with new themes is your strong point!
  
Here’s some of what you’ll be contributing daily:

• Define the UX strategy, prototyping and testing in an agile/UX lean environment
• Conduct desired research and testing methods to build relationships with citizens to understand their needs
• Translate research results into actionable solutions to implement
• Design and develop prototypes to both high and low fidelity
• Pitch solutions to senior stakeholders, ensuring they thoroughly understand the ideas and what is to be achieved through designs.

  
The skills you’ll have mastered:

• Strong human centred design experience (3 years plus)
• Extensive use of Sketch and InVision
• Background of conducting research interviews and focus groups
• Personal yet resilient approach to your work and team
• Great knowledge and hands on experience with usability testing
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Super-strong organisational skills and patience with your work
• Thorough expression of support for ideas to ensure buy-in and ownership
