We’re looking for a Software Engineer who loves solving complex technical problems and delivering robust, scalable systems end to end. You’ll be working on the platforms that underpin Australia’s high-speed research and education network, building tools, APIs, and systems that connect people, data, and ideas globally.
  
  
What you’ll do

• Design, build and integrate APIs to support large-scale infrastructure systems.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (Python experience is a plus).
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with other engineers to deliver elegant, reliable solutions.
• Continuously improve system performance, monitoring, and automation.

What you’ll bring

• Strong software engineering skills, ideally across modern back-end languages.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs.

• Familiarity with networking, cloud infrastructure, or telecom environments (bonus).
