Just Digital People are currently working with a fantastic not for profit organisation in Melbourne. They are on the hunt for a Systems / Operations Engineer to work with their broad range of applications and distributed systems.
This NFP has an immense pride for what they do on a daily basis, therefore they want someone who shares that passion for helping others and being a good human.
They have a flexible working environment and are very family orientated. Also they are very health conscious they have regular massages from me, I come into the office every Monday… nah, joking from a professional masseuse. They also have team yoga and LOTS of office fruit.
Working across a UNIX/LINUX Environment is a must and exposure to distributed systems also a must.

Skills Needed:
- Strong knowledge and experience in UNIX/Linux environments
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to working in and supporting a distributed production environment
- Experience working with Docker
- Kubernetes - MUST HAVE
- Version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of SQL and PL/pgSQL
- Experience with configuration management and automation tools (e.g. Chef, Puppet)
- Experience with high availability storage clusters (e.g. GlusterFS)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Flexible working arrangements
