You will be a part of a team who work world-wide to engage with millions of sports fans. As a Senior Java Developer, you will work with a variety of data sources and suppliers, including video, commentary and live sports data. You will be responsible for driving new technologies and techniques across the squad, while focusing on your own skills, progressing them along the way.

Offering fully remote and flexible working, you will be an effective tech lead within a team that will provide solid communication and work collaboratively. Responsibilities:

• Produce high standard code that’s easily functioned and understood by the rest of the team
• Develop, test, stage and produce code releases
• Collaboratively share ideas and techniques across the rest of the dev team
• Have clear comms to ensure the best solutions are built
• Showing pride and care in the final product, paying attention to detail and ensuring the team do the same
• Manage, assign and track project tasks
• Continuously develop your own skills
• Act as Chapter Lead from time to time
• Conduct performance reviews with the team (time management, ongoing role support etc.)

• Java11+
• Spring Boot & Spring 5
• JPA/Hibernate
• Microservice Architecture
• Providing RESTful APIs
• JSON Data structures
• Git usage/code management
• SQL/Kafka/Docker/Kubernetes/AWS/Maven
• Bonus skills: Python/HTML/CSS/JavaScript
