Senior Front End Developer

This one is hot off the press! A brand-new role has come up due to one of my best clients winning new clients of their own – hence continuing their epic growth!

They are looking for a Mid OR Senior Front End Developer to join this high performing team! You will be working mainly across the front end with HTML, CSS, Javascript and React. But they will happily allow you to follow the technology you are passionate about, whether that’s on the front end OR both front and back end.

These guys have an excellent reputation in Melbourne for providing first-class consultancy services and products that are used across a wide range of ISP’s, Hospitality, Retail, Energy and so on. They have a few PaaS and SaaS software platforms that are used by a wide range of these clients.

You will join a very talented and friendly team, having put most of this team together myself I have met them all and they are a great bunch. They are very passionate about software and enjoy socialising together on Friday’s for lunches and beers etc.

We are looking for someone who can add to the passion they already have and someone who is not shy of hard work. You must be an excellent communicator and take feedback on board! 

What you will need:

• You will ideally come from a client servicing background, working on various projects
• Excellent communication skills required
• Must be a team player, with ability to work closely in an agency environment
• Will have the ability to work well with clients ever-changing needs and requirements
• The ability to mentor and teach junior members of staff
• At least 2 good jokes up your sleeve – we will ask

Skills Required:

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• React.JS
• Responsive web design
• Cross-browser development and testing using Browserstack
• Experience with Bootstrap or other CSS Frameworks

Bonus Technology Points:

• TypeScript
• MobX
• Gatsby.js
• RESTful API’s
• Git version control
• SCSS
• Fusebox and Webpack bundlers

Even More Bonus Points:

• Experience or an interest in UI and UX
• Experience with MVC-like frameworks (Backbone, Angular, Flux/Redux)
• Experience with C# .NET Core
• Docker
