Job Brief

JDP are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join an outstanding IT Team based north of the river.
The desired QA teammate will play an important role on the team, assisting in designing/implementing tests, improving processes with continuous integration/deployment, and contributing with new ideas to improve processes. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for testing applications pre & post-launch.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Plan, Conduct, and Monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
• Analyze Data to Identify areas for improvement in the quality system
• Develop, Recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
• Monitor Risk Management Activities
• Assist in drafting Quality Assurance Policies & Procedures
• Aid in overseeing improvement projects

Experience & Qualifications

• Implementation of Corrective Action Programs
• Quality Inspection, Auditing & Testing
• Mobile Testing and Automation
• A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
• Knowledge of QA Tools, Concepts, & Methodologies (Selenium Grid, Cucumber, Java), Continuous Integration/Deployment, Mobile Application Testing 
• Some knowledge or understanding of Microsoft SQL, PHP, Python favoured
