Role Overview:
We are seeking a visionary Product Owner with expertise in Mechatronics. As the Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of our cutting-edge optical search systems, from concept to production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to drive the product's success.

Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy, aligning it with the company's mission and goals.
• Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritising features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and technical feasibility.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define detailed product requirements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and project goals.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary and leadership teams to ensure effective communication, coordination, and execution of the product development process.
• Quality Assurance: Be thoroughly involved in the manufacturing and testing of the product.
• Prototyping: Be at the centre of innovation, POC and rapid prototyping for products that customers are seeing for the very first time.

What do we need from you? First and foremost, good communication, a curiosity to learn and desire to be an integral part of a small yet high performing team (So a good attitude, i.e no big ego).

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in product management or product ownership/Leadership, preferably in a high-tech or defence technology environment.
• Strong technical background in Embedded Systems
• Strong technical background with Electronics, CAD and PCB.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
• Security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required.
