Job Title: Senior Murex MxML SME
  
Location: Sydney CBD, Australia (Hybrid working - 2-3 days from client office)

Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per annum + super

Join our dynamic consultancy team and work in collaboration with a leading Australian fintech company on their Rates project in Murex. This long-term opportunity offers a chance to contribute to a high-profile engagement with growth prospects.
  
As a Senior Murex MxML SME, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end development of planned changes, ranging from small CTB tasks to large bank-wide projects. The position involves regulatory analysis, PreTrade/PostTrade development, and data sharing.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  
Own the end-to-end development of planned changes, from small CTB tasks to large projects.
Provide technical analysis, estimate effort, design solutions, and perform unit testing.
Collaborate with the QA team to ensure timely defect remediation and comprehensive test coverage.
Drive solution design discussions and mentor/train junior members.
Work closely with Business Analysts and Testing team to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements:
  
8+ years of Murex MxML and Datamart experience.
Advanced MxML workflow and formulae development.
Proficiency in XSLT, Interface & data dictionary.
Strong knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL Server RDBMS fundamentals with good SQL skills.
Unix experience.
Familiarity with Jira.
Agile SDLC experience.
Solid functional knowledge in Murex FO.
Exposure to IR Derivatives asset class.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Extensive solution design experience and expertise in MXML.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  
DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc).
Good Java experience, especially integrating Java code in MxML.
Experience in FRTB & TDS in Murex.
Exposure to Commodity type trades.
Pretrade experience.
Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership.
