Your mission will be to propel their mobile app to greater heights and deliver an exceptional product for their clients. 
  
About the role:
  
You will be fully on the tools whilst being heavily involved in shaping the direction of the Android mobile app whilst working alongside the rest of the Agile team. Overtime you'll get the opportunity to build an internal Android team around you. 
  
You will ideally be a seasoned Senior Android Developer or hands on Lead who shares their passion for innovation in the digital asset and blockchain arena. 
  
What your day will look like:

• Lead the charge in Android app development – clean, scalable, maintainable and testable architecture and code
• The initial project will be around the transaction system for mobile so any experience in payments, banking, fintech, blockchain, trading, security etc is highly desirable
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin, GraphQL, WebSockets, MVVM
• Stay up to date with mobile development trends and tech
• Provide technical mentorship and insights to fellow developers
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers as well as product owners
• Maintain app reliability
• Work in an agile setting

What skills you will have:

• Strong experience in commercial Android development
• Kotlin and ideally KMM (personal or professional)
• Mobile analytics, performance optimisation, telemetry tools
• Experience building CI pipelines
• Git, JIRA
• Bonus points if you have experience with payments platforms, blockchain, cryptocurrency, or a high security financial environment
