In terms of technical skills, we are ideally looking for .NET skills and if you have some Ruby exposure, then you could see yourself adding value very quickly.

I would almost definitely be looking to speak to people who have evidence of any personal projects or code on Github, Stack Overflow or similar.   To match the passion and energy of the people in the business, I would expect to see you out and about at various MeetUps and perhaps also active in your chosen tech communities.
