Full Stack Developer – Contract
Location: Brisbane | Hybrid | Contract

About the Role
We are supporting an exciting government department who are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to help build a brand new digital solution. You’ll work primarily on Python backend development, integrate APIs, manage data, and contribute to frontend features. UX/UI experience is a plus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build Python backend services and manage data pipelines
• Integrate with REST/GraphQL APIs and AWS services
• Develop frontend features using React and TypeScript
• Collaborate on solution design and architecture with senior tech staff
• Maintain clean code, implement validation, and handle errors
• Participate in code reviews and support team best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Strong Python backend development skills
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs
• React (Hooks) and TypeScript experience
• Git and debugging skills
• Familiarity with modern CSS/component libraries
• Bonus: AWS Amplify, Lambda/S3, DynamoDB, CI/CD, testing
• Bonus: UX/UI design experience
