Backend Engineer – 6-month contract
Just Digital People are currently working with a fantastic & successful Australian born consultancy business in the Melbourne CBD!
This consultancy is not your typical consultancy, they build digital products that have a positive impact on the world including creating apps that fast-track cancer research. They do of course work with some very well-known business on the corporate side but also like to get their hands on projects that give back to the community. From a technical and socially conscious standpoint, these guys are extremely forward-thinking.
I have worked with this business for years! Placing a number of candidates into their roles and they LOVE it and are still there after all this time! Which must mean something positive right!?
They are looking for a Back-End Engineer to work for a client of theirs out in Mulgrave – this will be for an initial 6-month contract, with likely extension or permanent role from there.

So what skills do you need?
- An exceptional client-driven mindset to drive quality and client satisfaction
- Consulting experience, with excellent communication, rapport building, and negotiation skills
- Technical skills across:
- Microservice architecture – Mobile backend
- Containers and Kubernetes for infrastructure
- AKS or equivalent experience in Amazon EKS or Google GKE
- GO programming language
- Exposure to Azure and .NET Core – bonus
- AGILE Environment
- A passion for working in a collaborative team
- Qualifications in IT or equivalent experience
