About

We are currently working on X3 SERVICE DESIGNER roles within a Digital Government agency based in Sydney OR Brisbane with a Hybrid working way for an initial 15 MONTH contract with confirmed extensions.
  
Day rate is open but subject to experience, rough estimate around $700-$1,000 p/d + Super
  
As one of the Service Designers you will to design and deliver new experiences for improved outcomes for customers across a wide range of digital solutions.
  
You will be responsible for driving a human-centric and holistic approach to service delivery; helping to design and guide solutions to support multiple.
  
Only candidates with recent government experience will be considered at this stage.
  
Please note you need to be in a position to obtain a Baseline Security clearance (Australian citizen).
  
Role –
  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end service engagements
  • Use user research, data, and expert input to shape solutions across channels and products
  • Identify and communicate necessary service changes to meet user, business, and government needs, including creating service blueprints
  • Define and communicate service intent and user/business needs
  • Assist in breaking down service blueprints into actionable work for delivery teams
  • Partner with designers and tech teams to reuse capabilities and manage dependencies
  • Plan and conduct user research and usability testing to validate designs
  • Support IT teams in building and launching services
  • Define key metrics to assess impact and inform continuous improvement
  
  
Skills –
  
  • Over 4 years’ experience in HCD methods with a focus on Service Design, with Strategy/ Research
  • Research Government experience essential
  • Demonstrated experience in leading stakeholders and project teams to generate journey maps, service blueprints, service models
  • Design research techniques and service design methodologies to mould the experience, services, systems and brands
  • Demonstrated experience using Miro/Figma/PowerPoint
  • Agile working background
  • Extensive experience with process mapping and process improvement and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of Service Design methodology
