Engineers are given significant ownership of their work and are encouraged to actively contribute to technical discussions, challenge ideas and help shape the future direction of the platform.

For this role, you'll work alongside one of the co-founders so culture fit is SO important, he likes to be challenged, disagreed with and definitely isn't after a yes man/woman! This role will suit someone who has had experience sitting at the top table and influencing the direction of a platform.
 
About the Role
As a Full Stack Developer, you will work across both backend services and frontend applications to deliver new product features and improvements. Much of the work will involve contributing to the ongoing migration of the platform into a modern architecture while maintaining and improving existing functionality.

You will build full-stack features using .NET and React, design scalable APIs and contribute to improving the overall architecture of the system. The role also involves working closely with other engineers and business stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
The team actively uses AI-assisted development tools including Copilot, Claude Code and Codex. You will review and refine AI-generated code to ensure it is secure, scalable and production ready.

You will also contribute to deployments and infrastructure improvements within Azure while helping drive discussions around architecture, system design and engineering best practices.

This role is 100% remote but you must be based out of either Sydney or Brisbane. 

Technical Skills

• Strong experience building applications using .NET and React
• Solid understanding of modern API design and backend architecture
• Experience working with large or legacy systems
• Experience working with Azure and cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude Code and Codex
• Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work autonomously
• Strong communication skills and ability to contribute to technical discussions
