About the company: This Publicly listed FinTech has over 8000 staff and offices all around the world. They are leading the way with cutting-edge analytics and software solutions, helping their clients with customer service enhancements, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and public safety.  

JDP are thrilled to be working with their Sydney division, assisting their search for a new Project Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract, with a plan for this person to become permanent. 

This company offers a flexible working environment with 3 days from home, however you will also be required to be onsite with clients. A willingness to travel is essential. 
  
Main responsibilities: 

• Lead multiple projects independently, ensuring on-time delivery. 
• Cultivate strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact. 
• Manage day-to-day client interactions, overseeing project delivery efficiently. 
• Proactively address conflicts, dependencies, and changes in scope or schedule. 
• Execute Hybrid and Agile projects, support User Acceptance Testing, and oversee Profit and Loss for implementation.   

Essential experience: 

• 8-10 years of customer-facing project management experience, handling multiple complex projects (SaaS experience is advantageous). 
• Background in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent (an MBA is a plus). 
• External consulting or professional services experience at an enterprise software vendor.  
• Experience delivering product-based enterprise solutions for the financial services industry, particularly in AML, Fraud, or Compliance areas. 
• Experience in data-intensive system implementation. 
• P&L focused. 
• Ability to thrive in a time-sensitive, high-energy, and demanding entrepreneurial environment, balancing internal and external demands. 
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills with the flexibility to adapt project scope to changing markets and client demands. 
• Proactive identification and resolution of technical and project delivery issues. 
• PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is advantageous.
