We’re working with a highly advanced engineering team building next gen robotic and mobility systems for extreme environments. Think precision hardware, complex interfaces, and real world application, not theory.

They need a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer who can step in, own the work, and deliver quickly.

The deal

• Short term contract with potential to extend into a longer fixed term engagement
• Melbourne based, fully on site
• Australian Citizenship required

What you’ll be doing

• Design and produce approximately 20 jigs and fixtures in SolidWorks
• Build subassembly models including rover to jig and fixture interfaces
• Create clear interface documentation for hardware integration
• Compile hardware requirements for manufacturing

What you need

• Strong SolidWorks design and drawing experience
• Proven ability to deliver in short term, fast paced contracts
• Self starter who can work autonomously
• Clear, practical communication skills
• Australian Citizenship and eligible for security clearance

This isn’t a role for someone who needs hand holding or long onboarding cycles. It’s for someone who backs their ability to step in, take ownership, and get it done.
