About the Role
We are seeking a Website Specialist to join a purpose-driven national organisation on a 3-month contract based in Brisbane. This role will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the organisation’s digital presence, ensuring websites are user-friendly, accessible and optimised for performance.
Working closely with the Marketing and Digital teams, you will oversee the day-to-day management, development, and optimisation of the organisation’s websites. You will ensure content is engaging, technically sound, and aligned with broader digital strategy, while delivering a seamless experience for users.

Key Responsibilities
About You
You are a detail-oriented and proactive digital professional with a passion for creating seamless and accessible online experiences.
You will have:
• 2+ years’ experience in a website, digital or similar role
• Experience managing and updating websites via a CMS (Drupal experience highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and website optimisation techniques
• Experience monitoring website performance using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
• Knowledge of website accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Optimise website performance including speed, functionality, and responsiveness
- Implement and manage SEO best practices to improve search rankings and increase traffic
- Monitor and analyse website performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Ensure websites meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and are inclusive for all users
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align website updates with campaigns and broader digital initiatives
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance user experience and engagement
- Support the ongoing development and enhancement of website features and functionality
- Ensure websites remain secure, up-to-date, and technically sound
