We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented engineer with a strong background in functional safety. You’ll be responsible for leading safety activities across the entire development lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead functional safety processes from hazard analysis to validation and verification.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and quality assurance teams to integrate safety requirements.
- Perform safety assessments using methodologies such as FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA.
- Develop and maintain safety documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and collaborate with external certification bodies.
- Mentor and guide engineers in safety practices.
- Occasional overseas travel for industry engagement and collaboration.
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in functional safety engineering for safety-critical systems.
- Strong knowledge of standards such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.
- Proficiency in safety analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Functional safety certification is highly valued.
