Just Digital People have partnered with an incredibly exciting research & development consulting business. They span across the east coast of Australia with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane – with Sydney being their Head Office. 
   
What do they do? Well in a nutshell they work with their clients to build prototypes, products and solutions that have a huge impact on the daily lives of consumers. This can be anything from electronics, hardware, software, manufacturing, web apps – the sky is the limit! So this is not a consulting role, this is a company/role where products are designed in house, whilst still interacting with clients on a regular basis. 
  
As the Lead Electronics Design Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to foster innovation and maintain quality standards in electronics design across all stages of product development. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will play a crucial role in developing superior products in collaboration with their clients. 
  
Responsibilities: 

• Leading project design and development
• Streamlining hardware design processes and procedures
• Overseeing technical reviews
• Be the key contact for clients and project managers 
• Ensuring product comply with quality standards
• Be the go-to person for the team and clients
• Be able to train and mentor the junior members of the team

  
Requirements:

• Be an Australian Citizen or PR
• Experience with analog design and digital electronics 
• Extensive experience with Altium and PCB layout 
• Have experience with taking design concept to end product 

Most importantly in this role is enthusiasm and attitude towards quality software engineering and delivering top quality products for their clients.
