JDP are partnering up with an elite tech business in Melbourne who are looking for their next Director of People & Culture.

You’ll be leading the HR and people & culture function of the business, partnering up with senior stakeholders to collaborate and manage employee experience across engagement, capability development, culture, reward, and retention.

What you’ll be doing

• Craft and execute HR strategy in line with the company's objectives and goals
• Offer strategic support to the executive team regarding HR scenarios
• Analyse data for patterns, devising solutions as necessary for any arising issues
• Lead organizational change efforts by communicating and implementing HR policy adjustments.
• Lead the creation and execution of training initiatives to bolster employee competencies
• Manage intricate employee relations matters and mentor HR personnel
• Stay up to date with of employment laws and regulations to ensure adherence and compliance
• Formulate and revise HR protocols and procedures.
• Work hand in hand with General Managers, Directors and C-suite members to gain deep insight into employee roles, team dynamics, and support their staff's growth.

About you

• 8+ years’ experience in a HR/P&C role including most recent director level experience
• Ability to develop and manage HR policies and procedures
• Expertise in legal framework, employment laws and compliance practices
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple divisions (including c-suite executives), as well as a team of direct reports
• You’re data-centric, you know how to analyse and understand data reporting to drive insights and initiatives
• Strong industry background in start-up/scale-up tech environment is essential

This role will require 5-days on-site in the Melbourne office.
