A unique opportunity has arisen @ JDP Melbourne for somebody fresh to the recruitment industry that wants to climb the proverbial ladder. 

I have worked with a number of people who now earn six-figure salaries, who started reading an advert very similar to this one. The advert might have changed, but the role and the commitment that YOU need to provide hasn’t. This role is not for the lazy. For a quick intro:
We span across Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. We are recruiters that specialise in what we know, from developers & digital designers to digital marketers & all-round digital lords. In saying that, we’re not faceless recruitment machines – we’re bloggers, vloggers, creatives, developers, marketers, musicians, foodies, and anything but normal.
The Melbourne Digital space is a busy one & now we are looking to add another ‘Digital Talent Scout’ to our team. This ‘Talent Scout/ Resourcer/ Candidate Advocate’ (call it what you want), will be focusing on the Software Engineering sector and work with a very successful Consultant from our team, to kick some serious goals! Think: CIA level people-finding skills.
 
What do we want in you?
First of all – you don’t need to have recruited before. What you will need is;

• Empathy
• Emotional Intelligence
• Great work ethic - like really, really good
• Resilience / Thick Skin 

Typical people, you’d be looking for, with the help of your manager (training is of course provided on these domains)

• Software Engineers - Developers that use coding languages like Javascript, Java, .Net, GoLang, Ruby etc etc
• Web Developers and Digital Designers
• Mobile Developers - iOS & Android

Recruitment is tough but amazing fun. We feel the above attributes are what set apart those who are successful in this game, and those that are not.

You’ll have a personality as bubbly as a bottle of Moét with the ability to spark up conversations with those from all walks of life. You’re not afraid of a challenge, & will be prepared to put in the hard yards to make something of yourself – ‘hustle’ is a word which is well ingrained in your vocab.

You’re prepared to jump in with both feet! You want to be a success story - you want to push yourself & test your limits.  JDP is the perfect playing field to do this.

Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with the Digital space – we’ll provide you with the necessary TLC & training so you know the industry like the back of your hand. However, it helps if you enjoy social media and that does not mean just looking at facebook posts.

Salary - $40k-$50k per annum, plus an incentive bonus per placement you make.
