Software Engineer

We are working with a start-up near Wynyard who are looking to add a maverick Software Engineer to their team.
  
This business provides real-time data analytics to brands so that they can make smarter sales and marketing decisions.
  
To be the successful candidate, you must have a strong Java background building web apps but you must also have an interest in Machine Learning & Data Analysis.
  
Working closely with the Tech Lead in a small dynamic team, you will be exposed to a number of cutting-edge tools and technologies.

Skills and experiences

• 3+ years of experience using Java as a Full Stack Engineer (or if you are a Backend Engineer who is willing to work on the Front End as well)
• Good skills in REStful Web Services development
• Worked with Git, CI/CD
• Bonus points for experience with React.js, Scala, Spark, PHP, NodeJS
• Strong communication skills is a must 
• Degree in Computer Science or similar

This role can pay around $120k+super, depending on your previous skills and experiences.
