This early stage, yet thriving SEO consultancy is looking for its next key player. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for an experienced SEO professional to jump on board, take care of clients you believe in and do things the way you see best practice without the constraints of large agency guidelines. 

You will ideally come from a strong agency background, having exposure to large client names and big marketing budgets. You will have key clients to nurture along with having your own solid network to gradually bring to the bright side!

You will be an exceptionally strong communicator, partnering with companies big and small, setting the full scope of strategy and on the tools occasionally, but you will have a few contractors reporting into yourself to help with the technical workload.


A day in the life...

• Plan, execute and manage SEO campaigns for multiple clients
• Report campaign results and ROI back to clients in easy to understand terms
• Understand the client's strengths, USP, goals and success metrics
• Maintain and nurture relationships with relevant contacts - client-side, publishers and other 3rd party contacts
• Strategise and take charge on new pitches in your area whilst naturally upselling and cross-sell to existing clients
• Understand the commercial side of SEO and plan how to expand and evolve the product
• Stay abreast of industry trends and implement where needed
• Manage a small team of technical SEO contractors from time to time
• Run the offsite strategy for clients – delegating priorities to a small link building team
• Manage content strategy and write comprehensive briefs for our external content team using a variety of third party tools, including; SEMrush & SurferSEO to adhere to NLP guidelines. 

Experience needed to succeed...

• 5+ years' experience across all things SEO - strategy through to implementation, delivering results and managing a team for success.
• Experience handling multiple accounts, being involved in new business pitches and proven upsells & cross-sells.
• Very strong communication and interpersonal skills. You need to be excellent dealing with client's across a range of industries.
• Strong analytical skills and prior experience demonstrating sound problem solving and smart thinking to achieve higher ROI for clients.
• You will need to be a passionate marketer with a hungry, go-getter attitude that loves seeing clients achieve next to none results.
• Experience using Google Optimize and running A/B split testing is favoured – but not essential.
