JDP has teamed up with an awesome local Not For Profit company! We are super excited about this role! Our client is searching for a Junior/Mid-level software engineer to build out Jira and Confluence plugins. 

The position is a contract role, initially, you will be needed to work 2-3 days per week depending on your availability and after the first month, you will be required to work full time for a following 3 months. There is potential for an extension on the contract. Our client is needing someone who has experience in using JIRA and Confluence to generate business intelligence reports using plugins.

The office is located in North Melbourne and you will be working alongside 25 others in the office. There is a small team of developers within the office, however, you will be expected to work autonomously and be self-driven within your role, your team will be available to offer support if needed. 
 
What will you be doing: 

• You will be creating workflows, customized fields, scripts, behaviors, dashboards in a Jira environment.
• You will be troubleshooting and giving solutions for bugs and improvements on the software
• Testing new tools to make sure they are functional and compatible
• Performing ad-hoc system administration task when required
• Creating Business Intelligence reports for cross-functional teams utilizing the confluence and Jira software
