Golang Engineer

We're lucky enough to be working with a SaaS start-up committed to hiring the best software engineers in Brisbane. The business has built a platform that facilitates the digital transformation of documents using modern technologies and the highest quality of work being put by software engineers.

Your role will involve: 

• develop elegant solutions to complex problems
• monitor and reduce compilation times to boost developer productivity
• improve the reliability and efficiency of their backend stack
• build, maintain, and refine high-performance scalable systems

It is very important for you to be someone who believes in teamwork and can communicate clearly ideas and solutions to the team, all whilst you write readable, testable and maintainable codes that speak for themselves.

Skills and requirements:

• 3-5 years of web server, RESTful API and back-end application development experience
• Strong Golang, Node.js, Python, C, Javascript or equivalent experience
• Experience developing software/firmware update mechanisms
• Deep knowledge base of AWS deployment and integration experience
• Experience integrating open-source and 3rd-party software, where optimal
• Experience with data storage/retrieval and data manipulation (eg.  SQL, HDF5, AWS Redshift, S3, NoSQL etc.)
• Linux, mobile application backend/cloud development
