Full stack Java developer 
 
A full stack Java developer is required to join a top class, award winning, consultancy based in their Brisbane office. The team delivering vision is one of the most visible teams in the business, helping large clients pivot from traditional software development to cloud native engineering, helping clients adopt high velocity pod based working model and enabling clients to deliver business outcomes with greater agility, productivity and effectiveness. The full stack Java developer will help promote innovation, best in class execution and exploration of new ideas as a culture, as well as end-to-end delivery, being responsible for designing solutions, writing code, test cases, executing test cases, automating build, test and deployment, environment provisioning and configuration. The full stack Java developer will report to the lead developer as well as the head of development. 
 
Essential skills: 
 
•Core Java – Collections, Multi-Threading, Design patterns 
•Development frameworks – Spring/Hibernate/SpringBoot 
•Experience with building REST API’s 
•Exposure to Git, Gradle, Junit4.x, Wiremock, Mockito etc 
•An understanding of REST interface description languages like Swagger/RAML will be a bonus point 
•It would be great if you know the concept of API gateway (EG Mulesoft API) 
 
Nice to have skills: 
 
•Experience of working in and configuring cloud setup – AWS/Azure 
•Degree in computer science/software engineering 
•Microservices implementation
