Just Digital People have partnered with an incredibly exciting research & development product design business. They span across the east coast of Australia with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and have an impressive list of hundreds of clients and thousands of successful project. 
  
What do they do? Well in a nutshell they work with their clients to build prototypes, products and solutions that have a huge impact on the daily lives of consumers. This can be anything from electronics, hardware, software, manufacturing, web apps – the sky is the limit! 
  
With a growing team and even quicker growing client list they are looking to fill a few roles starting with an Embedded Software Engineer at a Junior or Mid-Level. They have offices all over Australia and this role is working in their largest which is Sydney and you will have a great deal of flexibility with work from home and office-based choices. 
  
Now this is not a consulting role, this is a company/role where products are designed in house, whilst still interacting with clients on a regular basis. 
  
We will need to see you have a strong foundation of OOP, C++,C or Python with examples of successful and ideally varied projects. The team you will be joining is a experienced team of Senior Engineers, so you don't need to be the finished product but your foundation level skills must be excellent. 
   
You will be involved through the whole SDLC, working closely with Senior Engineers to complete tasks and solver problems. You will also be speaking with clients right from conception through to production and management. So, if you like the idea of helping a client achieve the goals and enjoy providing an impressive service which will help your team and business and result in a happy client then this role is for you. Communication skills and a real appetite to learn is key for this company – and of course a passion for designing amazing products! 
  
What skills do you bring?  

• Good experience in C++ or C Or strong OOP experience and an interest in Hardware, embedded systems and electronics
• Ability to learn quickly, work semi-autonomously and manage own workload whilst also being a good team player. 
• knowledge and passion for all things Linux 
• Any past experience providing documentation – amongst many other industries this will be working with medical devices (This would be a massive bonus)
• Top notch English skills – this role involves regular interaction with clients
• Past experience working with a range of products/projects/domains 
• Bonus if you have experience with POC’s and prototypes

• Sydney location With flexibility on offer 2/3days from home.
