Just Digital People are currently working with a fantastic not for profit organisation in Melbourne. They are on the hunt for an Operations Team Lead to come in and manage their talented team systems and infrastructure team. You will oversee 5 talented system engineers whilst working closely with the head of digital and stakeholders across the business.
  
Ideally, we want someone who has the technical knowledge, coming from a product-based business dealing heavily with SaaS or PaaS software. You will drive the organizational process, know modern practices, build lasting relationships with colleagues. Fundamentally the appreciation and application of infrastructure as code. Running a tight, DevOps, ITIL and AGILE ship.

Ideally you will be in a leadership role currently with a track record of delivering excellent projects and products for consumers. Along with the below requirements.
  
What will you be doing:

• You will be managing a team of around 5, including managing the on-call timesheet, training & mentoring, hands on technical work
• Management of the network and server infrastructure
• Ensuring the development and improvement of the businesses infrastructure as code network and server environment
• Reporting, measuring and auditing the operation's assets and processes

  
Skills Needed:

• Tools: Git, Puppet, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Cloudflare, Nagios, Pantheon
• Knowledge of public cloud - AWS, Azure, GCP
• Cloud migration experience
• Infrastructure as code
• Current or recent experience in leading a development team
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder skills
• Excellent motivator – good ideas on how to motivate and incentivize team members
• Strong character, able to take on board and give feedback whenever needed
• Exposure to DevOps and ITIL Environments
• Cloud infrastructure experience – IaaS / PaaS
