Just Digital People are working with a local Melbourne start up! They are paving the way in the property and real estate industry with some very cool software. This business is in its early stages and have big ideas for growth… essentially, they want to take their journey to the next level.
To do that they want to bring on board a CTO to lead their technical direction and manage a talented team of software engineers. You will have a great opportunity to work closely with business owners on future technical direction, team growth, product development and empowering your team to do awesome things.
About you?
You will have a strong understanding of software principles, ideally you would have been a developer (they are a Python/React/AWS house) but more importantly you will have the ability to lead teams. The technology team has around 5 people, also ideally you will have experience successfully managing cross functional teams. You will also be able to speak with and talk with various real estate clients throughout Australia, therefore the ability to speak to non-technical people is vital.
The Role?
This is a role which, at its heart, is about advising people on how to solve technical problems they're struggling with and getting involved in the implementation of those solutions. You'll be working with multiple teams building software which aims to make the lives of clients easier, both end-user facing and internal!
In addition, you'll be advising C-level executives and division leaders on technical decision making and just generally helping them steer the ship. This role will be highly challenging, and you'll frequently be leaning on your knowledge of cutting-edge technologies to overcome problems or create products that require their usage.
