What exactly is a Candidate Manager?
 
Quite simply put, a Candidate Manager knows how to extract the best talent from market and place them in a role they deserve; whether this be contracting or permanent. There are many ways to nurture a market and help people find their magic role - this may include mingling with the tech community at one of the many recognised events JDP sponsor, screening via advert response or attracting people via industry blogs. There is no absolute way, but many ways in which to attract both passive and active candidate pools. All the training required is waiting for you.
 
It may be that you’re currently in consideration of a career within recruitment; becoming a solid Candidate Manager would likely be your initial stepping-stone into the industry and a great platform for you to build upon. Full/daily training is provided, and you’ll have a career mapped out for you within the realms of Software and Creative spaces which cover Digital marketing, UI/UX etc…
I would be more than open to discussing what the word of Creative/Digital/Software recruitment looks like. It’s by far one of the most buoyant spaces across the Australian market right now, and in my experience, one of the most enjoyable!
 
There is no “specific” background for these roles, more so individuals that possess the right temperament and attitude; prior exposure to the recruitment industry isn’t a prerequisite but the aptitude towards sales environments is.
 
We/I would personally take the time to invest in you and ensure you’re up to speed within a reasonable time-frame. To start within a new business, and possibly a new career can be daunting experience. JDP is a fully supportive and encouraging environment to work amongst.
