This company are a full turn-key service for hundreds of customers and this unique opportunity is for a creative, passionate, professional engineers to continue to develop and grow skills in a more business development focused role.
The role is for a hungry Business Development Manager with a big responsibility for national sales and marketing of global leading product design and engineering services.
The sales role will require somebody with solid strategic marketing initiatives and be instrumental in growing the companies client base, but also with a hunger for keeping the sales pipeline filled.
A company can make the best products in the world but they become nothing without a passionate, incredibly detailed sales manager.
The candidate will need to be a design engineer and you will promote the brand as an established leader and preferred supplier of product design services.
Working closely with our subject matter experts you will assist in translating technical requirements and customer expectations into carefully crafted business proposals with the highest degree of success. Expansion of the sales team as the business grows will be one of your strategic imperatives.
What do they do? Well in a nutshell they work with their clients to build prototypes, products and solutions that have a huge impact on the daily lives of consumers. This can be anything from electronics, hardware, software, manufacturing, web apps – the sky is the limit!
You will be responsible but not limited to:
- Managing the sales pipeline, optimising leads and running the 360 cycle
- Understanding the customer and mapping strategy based on business values and strengths
- Managing sales growth strategies
- Developing business opportunities and project estimates
- Creating sales proposals
- Identify strategic partnerships and business opportunities
- Overseeing marketing activities - SEO, socials, email marketing and so forth

What they are looking for?
- Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a working visa
- Quality and reputable education institution
- Have worked as a professional design engineer for 5 or more years
- Solid experience in the technology, manufacturing, or consultancy services industries
- Understanding of ISO 13485 & 9001 regulatory requirements pertaining to product development
- Have strong organisational, critical, and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be proficient in B2B sales and know how to negotiate at all levels up to C-Level
